Sytext is an AI-first unified inbox that brings together messages from multiple networks (such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, X, Discord, Messenger, Matrix bridges, and others) into a single interface. It uses artificial intelligence to suggest replies and prioritise messages. Sytext is a productivity tool designed to help you manage your communications more efficiently.

Sytext never sends a message automatically. Drafts suggested by the AI are yours to review, edit, and send — or discard. You remain in full control of all messages sent from your connected accounts.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Sytext, and to have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, personal data of a child (under 18) may only be processed with verifiable parental consent; Sytext does not collect such consent, so the Service is not offered to anyone under 18.

Some features require you to create an account. When you create one, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your login credentials and not share them.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately at rai@sytext.in of any unauthorised use.

You agree to use Sytext only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harassment.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of Sytext.
• Use the Service to violate the privacy, intellectual property, or other rights of third parties.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Deploy automated systems (bots, scrapers) that send more requests than a human could reasonably produce.
• Circumvent the AI privacy gate or send chats you have not explicitly allowed to an AI provider.

Your privacy is paramount. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including your rights as a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India). By using Sytext, you consent to those practices.

Sytext is built local-first. Your primary chat history is stored in your browser or on your device, not centrally on our servers. To keep the Service syncing across your devices and running your linked accounts, our server temporarily holds the latest 40 messages of each chat. Older messages are deleted automatically, and cached data is encrypted. You are responsible for keeping backups of your own local data.

You may withdraw consent for the processing of your data at any time by unlinking the relevant network in Settings or by deleting your account. Doing so stops the processing associated with that network and deletes the cached messages on our servers.

Sytext uses artificial intelligence to generate suggested replies, prioritise messages, and detect tasks. AI can make mistakes. Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any message before it is sent. Sytext will never send a message automatically — you must always press "send" yourself.

AI features are off by default and only ever applied to the chats you explicitly allow (in Settings → AI, or a single chat from its AI panel). Unselected chats cannot reach any AI provider. Turning AI off clears AI results from your device. When you use the free shared AI, Sytext answers with its own provider key; when you bring your own key, requests go directly from your browser to that provider, and the key never leaves your device.

Sytext integrates with third-party messaging platforms. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, actions, or downtime of third-party services. Connecting an external account to Sytext is done at your own risk.

Unofficial clients. Some links — WhatsApp in particular — use an unofficial client for that network. WhatsApp does not support third-party clients and can restrict or ban a number that uses one. Sytext warns you of this before you link. If you are not comfortable with that risk, do not link that account.

Personal sign-in. X, Discord, Messenger, and Instagram personal accounts are linked by signing in through the platform's own app on Android. The platform can limit or lock an account it finds being accessed this way. Business and Creator Instagram accounts use Meta's official sign-in (when turned on).

Sytext is currently free to use. The shared AI is provided at no cost to signed-in users, and you may bring your own AI provider key at your own cost.

If Sytext introduces paid features in the future, they will be clearly marked, priced, and governed by the terms shown at checkout. Any fees will be charged through a payment provider, and their own terms apply. Unless required by law, payments will be non-refundable. We will give reasonable advance notice of any change to what is paid.

All content, design, logos, and software associated with Sytext (excluding your own messages and data) are the property of Sytext or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

You retain all rights to the content you create, receive, and send through the Service. Sytext does not claim ownership of your messages, and does not use your private messages to train its own AI models.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Sytext at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Deleting your account removes your login information, linked networks, cached messages and other stored data from our servers, as described in the Privacy Policy; you should also clear your local browser data to remove the copy on that device. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability and indemnification) will survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY NETWORKS WILL CONTINUE TO ALLOW ACCESS ON THEIR TERMS. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYTEXT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING LOSS ARISING FROM A THIRD-PARTY NETWORK RESTRICTING OR CLOSING A LINKED ACCOUNT, OR FROM AN AI-GENERATED DRAFT YOU CHOSE TO SEND. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sytext and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Service; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms; or (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Nothing in this section removes any right you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your own country of residence.
